What is this Project about ?
It looks like a phone, but it doesn’t scroll, vibrate, or notify. Rather, it encourages the user to gaze out and highlight, through a visual frame, what’s around them. Within the case there are analog tools: pen, pencil, and paper, that are used to slowly draw is around them. It is a quiet act of re-connection in an era of perpetual digital interaction, this object invites presence, observation, and contemplation-offline.
Relationships between people, between humans and nature, and between lovers really matter. Yet people nowadays glance at their phone while they are walking, wear earbuds to block out the city noises, and even pay attention to their phone and not focus on each other when meeting their partner. That is why I would love to design an experience that helps people detach from the virtual world. I want to help the user become mindful of their senses and highlight reconnecting with the world around them.
Background
The more technologies advances, relationships become more distant.
Causes
The advancement of technology replaces direct human interaction with digital convenience.

Results
Offline relationships weaken, and emotional presence gradually disappears.
The rise of digital communication tools has reduced face-to-face interactions, weakening social bonds and trust. Studies show that people spend more time alone and less time with friends, contributing to increased social isolation. While online connections help maintain relationships, they often lack the depth and nuance of in-person interactions.

Design Thoughts
Technology connects the world, yet quietly disconnects our hearts.
Through an object shaped like a smartphone, people are invited to look around, draw it by hand, and record it themselves.
Instead of a digital screen, it invites people to experience the real world — a biocentric view — through their hands.
Design Objective
To design an analog object that takes the shape of a smartphone but invites users to stop, look, and reconnect with the physical world—inviting emotional presence through an embodied, biocentric experience.
